Android 13 officially released: here are all the future innovations!

Google officially announced Android 13 at I/O 2022 today and talked about future innovations. Let's take a look at Android 13, which will bring more customization and many innovations together.

Today, Google held the I/O 2022 event that we have been waiting for for a long time. At the event, where many innovations in both hardware and software were presented, the new Android 13 operating system was one of the most intriguing, along with the first Google Pixel Watch smartwatch and its new Pixel Buds Pro headphones.

That was to be expected and Android 13 was finally introduced at this event. In the promotion, where many of the innovations and features of Android 13 were shared, the most important focus on the new operating system was security and "customization". Let's look at all the innovations of the system presented as "Tiramisu".

Android 13 will be more secure and private

Android 13 will come with "Material You" and will allow users to customize their phones much more. Material You, which will come as themes arranged with different options, will offer editable color options and can be used in applications such as third-party apps and media players.

The wallpaper and theme colors of your phone can be matched and controlled. Likewise, in media players, the colors of content such as album covers will be matched and used instantly on the lock screen. It will work similarly with compatible app icons.

In addition, Android 13 will emerge as a renewed and more secure operating system. Similar to the system we've seen on iOS before, Android 13 will be more transparent and controllable about which apps can be accessed.

With this new security system, apps will ask for permission to send notifications; You will also be given the option to access specific and restricted data instead of accessing the entire gallery and media. In line with these innovations and improvements, a new Security and Privacy Settings page will be added to the menu.

End-to-end encrypted messages, fast matching, and more

With Android 13, users will now be able to use the Google Messages app, which comes with Google's new support for end-to-end encrypted messages, instead of SMS, which is never used. Additionally, Android devices will be able to take advantage of the Quick Match feature when paired with other Android 13 devices.

Another innovation is the ability to choose a specific language for each application using Android 13. This way, users will be able to select individual languages specifically for the applications installed on their phones through the operating system. In addition, Android 13 will come with Google Wallet, but our country is not yet on the list of countries where this feature will be available.
